As we get ready to go full steam ahead into summer movie blockbuster season, Marvel is giving us a reminder they’re going to keep the train rolling past the summer.
Ahead of its debut this September the first poster for Marvel’s Inhumans television series has been unveiled.
Marvel Entertainment released the teaser art—which prominently features Black Bolt’s symbol—in a post on Twitter, saying “Beyond humanity.”
Black Bolt is played by Anson Mount, the actor best known for his role as Cullen Bohannon in the Western drama Hell on Wheels. Meanwhile, Game of Thrones star Iwan Rheon plays Maximus, the “clever and charming” brother of Black Bolt who is “fiercely devoted to the people of Attilan.” The series also stars Serinda Swan as Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, and Mike Moh as Triton.
Marvel will debut the first two episodes of the live-action series in IMAX theaters for a two-week run this September. Then, on September 26, the series will make its way to network television, with each new installment in the eight-episode show airing on Tuesday nights on ABC.
