Just when it seemed as if all systems were a go, we now have a setback in the standalone Gambit film.
Gore Verbinski, who had come aboard to direct X-Men spinoff, is pulling off of the movie. This is said to be an amicable split amongst the parties and it’s mainly due to scheduling issues.
However, Channing Tatum remains aboard as the lead role and the project which is said to be named “Forevermore” will still be happening.
