When it was announced that Swamp Thing would be coming to the DC Universe streaming platform and that it would be executive produced by James Wan, many were rightfully excited. The level of anticipation grew higher when it was said the Wan would not on EP the series but he would direct the pilot episode.
Now it is being told that is not the case but don’d fret the person who is stepping up to replace him in the directors chair is more than qualified. Len Wiseman the creator of Underworld has stepped in to replace him. Production is set to begin shooting this Fall in Wilmington, NC.
Wiseman is also credited with Live Free or Die Hard and the Total Recall that starred Colin Ferrell.
