Loki, one of the first series that Marvel Studios will be making for Disney’s streaming service Disney+, has landed Michael Waldon as its showrunner. Waldron will write the pilot, act as show creator and exec produce the series.

Tom Hiddleston’s character, Loki died at the hands of Thanos in Avengers:Infinity War. But he will be reprising his role that first began back in 2011 in the first Thor

Though it has not been officially confirmed by Marvel but sources say the show will follow Loki as the trickster and shapeshifter pops up throughout human history as unlikely influencer on historical events. Which will make for a VERY interesting take sort of the way of Forrest Gump.
