Disney Releases Its New Film Slate That Includes A Shift Once Again To NEW MUTANTS

Walt Disney has just released an updated slate of its upcoming film releases. this also includes the films obtain through its acquisition of 20th Century Fox films.  One of the notable things is the change in some of the release dates for films that were expected to arrive in theaters sooner.

Most Notably this distinction goes to Fox’s THE NEW MUTANTS. The horror mutant which was originally believed to be hitting theaters sometime this year will now arrive on April 3rd, 2020.  The film which had been pushed back several times and experienced delays due to reshoots had many wondering if it would ever see the light of day.  Now it will indeed be seen in movie theaters or either the Disney plus streaming platform or Hulu.

Also on the schedule are many Untitled Marvel projects. Post the events of Avengers Endgame many new stories are abroad and waiting to be told. There of course are films in which we know are either in production or development from Marvel Studios. These include a solo BLACK WIDOW film starring Scarlett Johannson, THE ETERNALS with Angelina Jolie, SHANG-CHI, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 3. Other films that have been mentioned before were a BLACK PANTHER sequel and a DOCTOR STRANGE sequel.
