James Gunn’s THE SUICIDE SQUAD is loading up with all star talent. From the newest additions to the squad in John Cena, Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian & Daniela Melchior to returning members Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney & Joel Kinneman this film already seems stacked to the brim.
Well now you can add another name to the list of top tier talent. Michael Rooker, who worked with Gunn on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol’s 1 & 2 as Yondu Udonta, will now be taking on the role of King Shark in the SUICIDE SQUAD sequel.
The character of King Shark has been gaining in popularity as of late thanks to his appearances in The Flash TV series. This will be the character’s first big screen live-action appearance. Because of King Shark’s massive size and heavy usage of CGI its completely possible that Rooker will be primarily performing voice work and IF we see the actor it will be in flashbacks.
