This is a pretty exciting announcement. According to Jeff Sneider of Collider, Academy Award winner, Christian Bale is currently in talks to join the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Thor, THOR LOVE AND THUNDER directed by Taika Waititi.
Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, Tessa Thompson is reprising her role as Valkarie, where after the events of AVENGERS:ENDGAME, is now the King of New Asgard and looking for her queen. Natalie Portman is expected to reprise her role as Jane Foster and potentially will take up the mantle of Thor as it has happened in the comics.
Marvel Studios nor Christian Bale’s representatives have currently spoken on the latest buzz to swirl the rumor mill.
Bale is currently starring in 20th Century Fox’s FORD VS FERRARI alongside Matt Damon.
Bale is no stranger to the superhero dranchise as he once donned the cape and cowl as Batman in the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy. (BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES).
