You might remember him in CREED II as Victor Drago and now you may see him as a villain within the MCU in the upcoming SHANG-CHI & THE LEGEND OF THE TWO RINGS.
According to the Australian website Dark Horizons, it is being reported that professional boxer Florian “Big Nasty” Munteanu has scored a secondary villain role in the upcoming Marvel Studios film.
Munteanu’s recent social media activity (namely Instagram) confirms that he has been in Sydney since January, which is around the time the likes of Tony Leung and Awkwafina arrived down under to prep for the shoot.
Now we understand that this could simply be a coincedence and doesnt 100% confirm him being part of the production, but if two plus two equals four (which it does) then it can totally back up this being a possibility. .
Should this be a lock and Florian is indeed playing a secondary antagonist, there’s a good chance he’ll be someone Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) will come up against in this underground tournament we’ve been hearing about. Tiger-Claw, Moving Shadow, Razor-Fist, and Ghost Maker are all possibilities.
