After Disney blamed its third quarter loss on its 20th Century Fox acquisitions including DARK PHOENIX many found themselves wondering if THE NEW MUTANTS which itself has gone through a number of reshoots, actually be released to the public. We now may have our answer.
According to a report from Variety, Disney is highly unimpressed with John Boone’s The New Mutants, and believes it has “limited box office potential” (did they not see the aforementioned DARK PHOENIX).The film is currently set for an April 2020 theatrical release, but, as far as we know, still requires some reshoots. If this is indeed true then do not expect the mouse to enthusiastically shell out any money into having this happen.
As far as the merc with a mouth, goes Disney is still said to be “grappling” with how to integrate DEADPOOL into the MCU, and is trying to find a way for the character to “move seamlessly between AVENGERS spinoffs and bloody, profane stand-alone adventures.”
Now if you want a quick summation of what this may mean, it may be when it comes to assembling with the Avengers, Wade Wilson would be a little more reserved but when it comes to his own solo films its “No F’s Given”.
It has been no secret that Chris Evans would be hanging up his shield and no longer be avenging after Avengers 4. Many people wondered if that would mean we would see the death of Captain America.
Well it is almost all but 100% confirmed as the actor himself took to Twitter to announce his wrapping on Avengers 4 and wrapping on the super soldier.
Now yes emotional could mean the death of Steve Rogers but he has also.grown emotionally attached to the role after so many years of portraying the iconic hero. But it may add to the speculation that occurred after these promotional photos in his new suit with scales
The scales are on the suit that was worn during the emotional “The Death of Captain America” run
Do you believe this is the final hurrah for one of the original Avengers or is it just the actor bidding a final adieu.
Photos have recently been released from the set of Spider-Man:Far From Home with show the wall crawler donning a black stealth suit that is reminiscent to his original spidey suit in Spider-Man Homecoming as well as an ode to the classic Spider-Man Noir look.
Now further closeups show a bit more detail about the suit that may hold some potential spoilers as we head into Avengers 4 which is currently still untitled.
As you can see not only is the suit dark and stealthy but is also appears to be armor plated and even sort of tactical.
Now if we look at a lightened version of the photo reveals that the costume has a S.H.I.E.L.D. logo on it and that may provide some major clues about both this movie and Avengers 4. In case you have been under a rock both Nick Fury and Maria Hill will appear in the sequel and yes they did turn to coffee grounds in Avengers Infinity War but it does not that they do not return in the next Avengers team up that releases in theaters before the second Spider-Man film. Could it be that the organization is reformed after the Thanos attack which would absolutely be understood within the MCU.
Many people remember getting a taste of seeing Gwyneth Paltrow in armor in Iron Man 3 and that was enough to have fans wondering will her Pepper Potts get her own suit and be known as RESCUE as in the comics.
Well Gwyneth herself may have given us an answer for that. While recently on The Late Show on Thursday night, with Stephen Colbert she was asked whether she will get a suit in the massive Marvel team up.
Paltrow replied, “You know, to be totally honest, I’m unclear. Because it’s so secretive and it’s all on green screen, and I’m not exactly sure. And they don’t let me say anything.”
Colbert, didnt let it rest there, he followed up with, “Is there any chance, at any point, when you were working on the movie, did you thrust your hand toward someone wearing a blue suit with ping pong balls on it?
Which in result, is where things get spilled. Paltrow simply replied, “Yes”.
Now here is where some of the confusion may come in. Because we dont know if she will once again be inside one of Tony Stark’s suits or if she will get her own and become Rescue. This isn’t first time there has been talk about this . Back in December, she posted a picture of herself in a motion capture suit, that was the quickly deleted. So yeah its pretty safe to say its for sure happening, right?
Marvel and Vanity Fair have assembled for a photoshoot of epic proportions.

This all star cast is loading up with more and more talent by the day
Marvel Studios is looking for Avengers: Infinity War and the subsequent followup Untitled Avengers to work as a closing for Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With 18 films due to be out by the time Infinity War rolls around, there is no shortage of characters at the disposal of directors Joe and Anthony Russo. They’ve already showed an ability to manage a large number of characters in Captain America: Civil War, but Infinity War will be a test on an entirely different level.
Not only will the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and other solo heroes be involved in the fight against Thanos, but secondary MCU characters from movies past have also been linked to Infinity War. While many may still be waiting for TV characters to crossover as well, one more cosmic entity may have just been confirmed to appear.
MCU Exchange is reporting that Josh Brolin posted (and has since deleted) an Instagram video discussing what scenes he will be shooting next for Infinity War and among the cast members he listed to be working with was Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), and the surprising reveal of Benicio Del Toro, who plays Taneleer Tivan aka The Collector. Del Toro made is debut as the character in the post-credit scene of Thor: The Dark World and later appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy, but no further appearances had been confirmed until now. To make this report even more believable, Del Toro was recently spotted in Atlanta – where Marvel is currently filming Infinity War.
With so many other characters set to appear, it is none too surprising that The Collector will also be making an appearance in the film. After all, he does still have the Aether (the Reality Stone) and Thanos will have to retrieve this artifact in order to completely power the Infinity Gauntlet. What is interesting however, is that the scene mentioned by Brolin also involves Gamora and Star-Lord. Neither Thanos nor The Collector are set to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, so this could indicate that the Guardians get involved with stopping Thanos well before he reaches Earth.
The Collector could also play a larger role depending on what other secrets he has stashed away in his massive collection. Even with one of his bases now destroyed, he does potentially have Adam Warlock’s cocoon in his grasp. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is laying the foundation for Warlock to appear; and if Peter Dinklage is playing his sidekick Pip the Troll (as his hair may have revealed), then having The Collector release Warlock later on in the movie could further make his appearance that much more important.
