We have our first look at the new DC live action show ‘Titans’ coming to the DC Universe streaming site. It is a dark and gritty look at the group of DC heroes led by the former Batman sidekick, Robin (Brendan Thwaites). The trailer which is rated TV-MA for all good reason shows us the other Titans in Raven (Teagan Croft), Beast Boy (Ryan Phillips) and Starfire (Anna Diop). We also get a look at Hawk and Dove in action.

Jay Washington reacts to the trailer and give his predictions and expectations for the series .

Is This Our First Look At A Few More “Titans”

First we got our looks at Robin as well as Hawk and Dove for the upcoming TITANS series that is coming to the DC streaming service.

Now it seems we may have our “first look” at Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire. In some set photos we see Ryan Potter (Beast Boy), Teagan Croft (Raven) and Anna Diop (Starfire). We aren’t sure if these are actual costumed photos which it seems like or just in between scenes ones. It clearly is cold where they are.

However, we will let you all be the judge of them.

TITANS Series Now Has Its Beast Boy

The cast of the upcoming TITANS series is rounding itself out. We now have a casting for Beast Boy.

Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) has been cast as the Green Hero opposite Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop and Teagan Croft as Garfield “Gar” Logan (aka Beast Boy). The new live-action series TITANS is from Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman and Geoff Johns

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson (Thwaites) emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire (Diop), Raven (Croft) and others.

A bit of backstory on Beast Boy. As a child, Potter’s Garfield “Gar” Logan contracted the lethal disease, Sakutia, while on an African expedition with his geneticist parents. Treated with an experimental drug, Gar survived but not without developing some bizarre side effects.  Along with skin and hair turning permanently green, the wisecracking, fun-loving Beast Boy is able to reshape himself into any animal of any size he can imagine.

In addition to the core Titans quartet, the series also cast Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly as recurring, playing superhero duo Hawk & Dove, with an option to become regulars in Season 2 and possibly headline a potential spinoff series down the road.
