As all we know, DC is expanding with its own online streaming service. A couple of the main focuses have been the debut of the live action Titans series and well as the return of the immensely popular Young Justice animated series. Well logos for those two series as well as the animated Harley Quinn series. Also heading to the platform is the superman prequel Metropolis But check out the logos for the aforementioned below.

More news has also surfaced about the new streaming service, as it was announced that Swamp Thing is being developed with director James Wan (Aquaman) set to become the executive producer.  It will also have Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Galactica, Netflix’s Daredevil) and Gary Dauberman (It and its forthcoming sequel) who are attached to co-write the script and serve as showrunners on the live-action drama.

Swamp Thing follows what happens when CDC researcher Abby Arcane returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus and in the process develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. Abby later discovers that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.

The property has been adapted multiple times over the years, that includes two feature films in the 1980s  In 1990, a  live-action TV series on the USA Network which ran for three seasons, and Fox producing a short-lived animated series in the early 1990s that aired in Canada after it was pulled from the schedule. (Syfy later aired it in syndication.)

TITANS Gets A WONDERous New Addition

By WONDEROUS we me Wonder Girl aka Donna Troy. This is according to Heroic Hollywood as they have reported that  Other Space, Elementary and the Blacklist actress Conor Leslie was seen on set of filming for the DC new streaming service show.

It has officially been confirmed she will be portraying the character who originally as
introduced as Wonder Woman’s little sister, and eventually became a member of the Titans alongside the likes of Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad. Her origin was however later retconned to make her a non-Amazon orphan who gained her powers after Diana recused her from a building fire.

Now that makes Robin, Starfire, Rave, Beast Boy, Hawk and Dove, the Doom Patrol and now so far Wonder Girl for this junior superhero team up.  But the recent set photos of Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven have made a few feeling uneasy about this. Let us know your thoughts and opinions.

Is This Our First Look At A Few More “Titans”

First we got our looks at Robin as well as Hawk and Dove for the upcoming TITANS series that is coming to the DC streaming service.

Now it seems we may have our “first look” at Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire. In some set photos we see Ryan Potter (Beast Boy), Teagan Croft (Raven) and Anna Diop (Starfire). We aren’t sure if these are actual costumed photos which it seems like or just in between scenes ones. It clearly is cold where they are.

However, we will let you all be the judge of them.

TITANS Series Now Has Its Beast Boy

The cast of the upcoming TITANS series is rounding itself out. We now have a casting for Beast Boy.

Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) has been cast as the Green Hero opposite Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop and Teagan Croft as Garfield “Gar” Logan (aka Beast Boy). The new live-action series TITANS is from Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman and Geoff Johns

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson (Thwaites) emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire (Diop), Raven (Croft) and others.

A bit of backstory on Beast Boy. As a child, Potter’s Garfield “Gar” Logan contracted the lethal disease, Sakutia, while on an African expedition with his geneticist parents. Treated with an experimental drug, Gar survived but not without developing some bizarre side effects.  Along with skin and hair turning permanently green, the wisecracking, fun-loving Beast Boy is able to reshape himself into any animal of any size he can imagine.

In addition to the core Titans quartet, the series also cast Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly as recurring, playing superhero duo Hawk & Dove, with an option to become regulars in Season 2 and possibly headline a potential spinoff series down the road.
