Phase 5 MCU Movies Now Have Release Dates

We already knew that Phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was locked and loaded. Movies such as BLACK WIDOW, DOCTOR STRANGE AND THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS and THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER are already scheduled with release dates.

Today, Marvel Studios parent company, Disney set and announced release dates for five as of yet untitled Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies. The films will be released on Oct. 7, 2022, Feb. 17, 2023, May 5, 2023,  July 28, 2023, and Nov. 3, 2023. It can be safely assumed that one of those dates will belong to BLADE starring Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali.

DOCTOR STRANGE 2 Is Officially Happening And Scott Derrickson Is Returning to Direct

After the first visual marvel that was Marvel Studios Doctor Strange and the subsequent success of Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange in Avengers Infinity War, it was only a matter of time til we heard that the master of the mystic arts would be getting a solo sequel film. Now we have that news and best of all the original director , Scott Derrickson would be returning after finalizing a deal.

A writer for the project is currently being sought, but should everything flow according to plan production is expected to get underway by spring of 2020, with an eye on a May 2021 release.

Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise the role of The Sorcerer Supreme, and he’ll be joined by Benedict Wong as fellow wizard, Wong. Rachael McAdams is also “likely” to return as Strange’s love interest, It is not known yet if Chiwetel Ejiofor who became the villainous Baron Mordo would return, however it would only make sense.

New International Thor:Ragnarok trailer gets a little STRANGE

The hype behind the upcoming Thor:Ragnarok is well deserved. The sights & colors, the word from director Taika Waititi that 80% of the films script was improvised, Cate Blanchette as Hela the Goddess of Death and elements of the Planet Hulk story have made the November release not come fast enough .

Now we have some thing to add to the anticipation, the international trailer has been released and we see a little more of Doctor Strange played by Benedict Cumberbatch.

There are Japanese subtitles but that doesn’t take away from anything in a few instances it actually enhances the cool look.
