GHOST RIDER Series Not Moving Forward On Hulu

Just when people were getting excited for the arrival of the GHOST RIDER series on Hulu, that excitement has to be quelled as now the series will no longer be moving forward. This was reported as an exclusive from Deadline.

Deadline is reporting that seemingly the reason for the series not going forward is creative differences between Hulu and the GHOST RIDER team.

Even though Gabriel Luna will not be reprising his role on Hulu as Robbie Reyes, MARVEL’S HELSTROM is on track as well as four connected animated series. MARVEL’S M.O.D.O.K, MARVEL’S HIT-MONKEY, MARVEL’S TIGRA AND DAZZLER SHOW and MARVEL’S HOWARD THE DUCK, set to roll out in 2020, culminating in a special event, MARVEL’s THE OFFENDERS.

It is not yet known if the series will shopped elsewhere but there has been rumors that Marvel Studios is interested in bringing a Ghost Rider show to the Disney plus streaming site.

Check Out Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider

Well a big thank you indeed goes out to Entertainment Weekly for this one. We were wondering what would the Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider character (played by Gabriel Luna) on the 3rd season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D would look like and now we have it.

I’d have to say its pretty spot on to its comic book counter part even though we only see him in human form. More than likely ABC and Marvel are saving the FLAMING reveal for the actual tv show and do not want to spoil it.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Tuesday, Sept. 20 on ABC, in the new time slot of 10 p.m./9 p.m. Central.
