The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Are Headed Into THOR LOVE AND THUNDER

Remember when Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland were the main avengers who couldn’t seem the Marvel Studios secrets to himself? Whelp it looks as if that has changed because now you can Vin Diesel to that list.

Now to understand why this story is such a deal here’s sort of a timeline to help understand this  GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol 3. was originally set to be released before THOR LOVE AND THUNDER. However with James Gunn’s firing (and his decision to take the helm of THE SUICIDE SQUAD for Warner Bros.) changed things, So now we will be finding about the status if you will of the former King of Asgard and his relationship with the band of misfits sooner rather than later.

Vin Diesel the voice of Groot, while doing press rounds for BLOODSHOT indeed confirmed that the team will be included in Thor’s next movie. “I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park,” he said when asked about plans for Vol. 3“He took The Suicide Squad so he’s about to embark on it.”

Diesel went on further to say, “Thor will also, the director talked to me about Thor will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy,” “That’ll be very interesting, nobody knows, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”

It seems that Thor will be leaving the new King of Asgard,Valkrye and The Mighty Thor in Jane Foster at some point in the film and possibly head on board the Bennetar and set sail for the Guardians next adventure.

But nonetheless ….will Vin Diesel be in trouble like is groot gonna get a spanking.

jamesgunn

Many people thought this was never going to happen and that we would just have to look towards the future with James Gunn and The Suicide Squad. But now it seems as if we have two major team ups coming from Gunn as Disney has reinstated him as the director for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.

Deadline is reporting that Walt Disney Studios president Alan Horn met with Gunn multiple times to discuss the situation in its entirety and was persuaded by both Gunn’s public apology and the way in which he handled the situation after which ultimately led to his reverse course and being reinstated.

In a move that pretty sure would never upset anyone, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 & Vol 2 director James Gunn has said that he will help to oversee the Marvel Cosmic Universe after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.

Back in April , he first brought up that he would return to helm Guardians Vol 3. Now he has told to IGN that he will not only be at the helm of Vol. 3, but he will also work with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige to help oversee the future of the entire Cosmic Universe wing of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the post-Avengers: Infinity War phase of the MCU.

“We talk about it all the time,” Gunn said of his role in the overall Marvel Cosmic Universe. “It’s already a part of what I’m doing with Marvel and the conversations that Kevin and I have every day. When we’re talking about ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3,’ and that story, that’s a story that will lead to other stories. It’s innate to the DNA that that’s the end of a trilogy but it’s the beginning of a whole other element of the Marvel Cosmic universe. That’s a part of what I’m doing now.”

Gunn had previously stated that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will take place years after Vol. 2 and will conclude the story of this iteration of the Guardians, and serve as a launching pad for new Marvel characters that will permeate the MCU for years afterwards.

This is some amazing information after hearing that the MCU can and will span into different individual universes being the aforementioned Marvel Cosmic Universe and the Marvel Quantum Universe.
