The Worlds Finest Are Coming Together In A 2021 CW Crossover

Many of us kind of expected this would happen since the first time we saw Kate Kane (Ruby Rose)and Kara Zor El (Melissa Benoist) team up and fight together in the ELSEWORLDS crossover. But it seems as if the CW is putting a bit of a twist to our vision of a WORLDS COLLIDE.

The CW Chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz revealed that the network planning a two-hour event pairing Superman and Batwoman will be coming together in a crossover event. Unfortunately given the events of COVID-19 we will not be getting it in December as we are used to see the crossovers happen. That more than likely it will happen either the first or second quarter of 2021.

“We’re still working on it. It will be a smaller event than usual, we’re only planning a two-hour event. We are talking about doing Superman and Batwoman together. There’s a lot of characters coming from our other shows,” Pedowitz said.

It was also recently announced that the newest CW superhero show SUPERMAN & LOIS will be going straight to series. So it seems as if this crossover may serve as the backdoor pilot for the series. Also it is worth noting that BATWOMAN has been renewed for a second season.

We Know Who One Of The Big Bad For Season 5 Of DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Will Be

DCs-Legends-Of-Tomorrow-CW-Season-4-Poster

If you remember in the most recent season of DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, John Constantine (Matt Ryan) was trying to help save the soul of Astra who was trapped in hell thanks to Constantine only to ultimately resent him.

Well it has been revealed that Astra (Olivia Swann) has been promoted to series regular and will be one of the “big bads” of the season. So this will be very interesting seeing how this all plays out and even if it connects with the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS crossover storyline. The

An exact release date for Legends of Tomorrow season 5 has not been revealed, but it’s believed the season will be premiering sometime in January 2020.

It looks as if we are going to get more “Fenris” on our television screens as Fox has officially renewed it’s hit X-men based series, “The Gifted” for a second season. Fox made the announcement Thursday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

The series is set in the “X-Men” universe and follows a suburban couple, The Struckers who discover that their teenage children are mutants with special powers. They are forced to flee from the government while connecting with an underground network of mutants while fighting to survive. Fox is preparing to air its two-hour first season finale on Jan. 15.

It stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, and Coby Bell.

The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television. Matt Nix, Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory serve as executive producers. Nix, who serves as the series’ showrunner, wrote the pilot, which was directed by Singer.
