Well if the movie thats happening already doesn’t make much sense, where here’s more to add on to it.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock will be facing off against Carnage. In the comics, Carnage is a symbiote, just like Venom, who attached to Brock’s prison cellmate, serial killer Cletus Kassidy.
As the story goes after Brock manages to escape prison by using the symbiote, some of it was left behind and attached to Kassidy, transforming him into Carnage. Carnage’s powers include shapeshifting, physical strength that’s more powerful than Venom and Spider-Man combined, and the ability to plant thoughts into people’s minds. Carnage is also more accepting and bonded with his symbiote and uses the term “I” as opposed to Brock who still is two separate entities.
The Hollywood Reporter has also heard that, even though Spider-Man star Tom Holland is only contractually obligated to Spider-Man 2 and 3, the plan is to still bring him into the spinoffs films, like Venom, as well as potentially other Marvel movies. Which let’s all be honest would only make ALL of the sense in the world.
Venom will open in theaters on October 5, 2018, with Zombieland’s Ruben Fleischer set to direct. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, and Amy Pascal are producing the film. Reports suggest Venom will be of the action, horror, and sci-fi genres. Who would you like to see play the role of the Serial Super Killer opposite Tom Hardy?
Well Spidey himself Tom Holland at one point had said who he would LIKE to go up against or team up with in future films but never really directly said if he would be back for solo sequels. Well now we have a definitive response and it’s YES Spiderman will have two more solo films after HOMECOMING.
During an interview with French site Allocine, Peter Parker actor Tom Holland appeared to let slip that there is indeed a third installment on the radar:
“There is still plenty of room to see Peter grow up Parker and especially Spider-Man in the next two movies, and at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the story is definitely not complete, I’m really looking forward to exploring how it will grow, [and to] see what will happen after puberty. Yes, [they’re] going to be exciting movies.”
Just to be certain, the site asked Holland to clarify his words, to which he responded: “Yes, there will be Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming 3. Now, you know, sorry, Marvel, oops!”
Though this has obviously yet to be made official, Holland’s comments do seem like pretty solid confirmation.
Not a huge surprise, perhaps, but there was always the possibility that the deal between Marvel and Sony was only going to allow for two solo movies, so it’s nice to know for sure that this won’t be the case.
We were told we’re getting it and now we have it. Its a brand new trailer for Spiderman-Homecoming starring Tom Holland as the Web slinger, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron man and also Michael Keaton as Adrian Toombs/The Vulture.
We see Spidey, post Captain America Civil War returning back to “normal” life as a regular teenager but now trying to deal with a new “local” threat. The action is non stop in this trailer and makes the anticipation for the July 7th release even higher.
Well we have our first look at the updated version of the classic webwings for everyone’s favorite wall crawler.

Pics showing Tom Holland dressed up as everyone’s favorite wall crawler while filming on Spiderman:Homecoming have been released. Holland is seen doing some wire work and at one point is even showing waving during an off take to passers by on the street.
Spiderman:Homecoming is set to be released in 2017
The man who was a big contributing factor to Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) by directing the first two Iron Man films and executive producing the first two Avengers films is back in the game and its not how you may be expecting.
No, there hasn’t been an OFFICIAL announcement of Iron Man 4 with Favreau possibly at the helm BUT is is returning as the Happy Hogan character in the upcoming Spiderman:Homecoming movie.
Jon Favreau portrayed the character, who’s described as Tony Stark’s bodyguard, friend, and chauffeur in the entire Iron Man trilogy. Since Robert Downey, Jr.’s character has already been confirmed for the Jon Watts venture, Happy’s return is basically two plus two and I am not talking about NEW MATH.
Favreau already revealed in an interview with IGN a few months ago that he loved Tom Holland’s webslinger in Captain America: Civil War. He said that the character made him “smile every second” he was on the screen. He also loved the version of Tony Stark he saw in those scenes with Peter Parker.
Spiderman:Homecoming is slated for a July 7, 2017 release.
Doesn’t this just make you “Happy?”….get it “Happy”….oh never mind
