JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Calls Out Joss Whedon For On-Set Behavior

It seems that JUSTICE LEAGUE star, Ray Fisher has more to get off of his cybernetic chest than just what he tweeted a day prior. Fisher who plays Cyborg in the film recently retracted his support of theatrical director, Joss Whedon, who stepped in to replace director Zack Snyder after the unfortunate death of his daughter.

It is no secret that many of Fisher’s scenes in the superhero team up film were cut and eventually plans for his solo film were scrapped. But as of today more has come out why Fisher has retracted his support.

In a tweet this morning Fisher with further with describing the treatment he experienced with Whedon on-set. He says, “Joss Whedon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable. He was enabled, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Accountability>Entertainment.”

It also needs to be mentioned that yesterday he praised director/writer Zack Snyder and co-writer Chris Terrio.

Many fans blame Whedon for the theatrical box office flop of the film. Claiming his “butchered Snyder’s vision” while “changing it to his own”. We are going to see the full vision in which Snyder envisioned when the Snyder Cut version of JUSTICE LEAGUE is released on HBO Max in May of 2021.

Henry Cavill Is In Talks To Return As Superman

It is becoming a surreal couple of weeks for Warner Media. 1st the announcement that the, Zack Snyder cut of Justice League will be coming to HBO Max  then today the launching of the new streaming platform and now news has come out that Henry Cavill is in talks to put back on his bodysuit and cape as the man of steel for multiple DC movies.

The report was first released by THE WRAP, It is being reported that the full extent of Cavill’s return to the role — whether just for additional work to be done for the upcoming “Snyder Cut” of “Justice League” or for appearances in future films — has not been disclosed. This also includes a sequel to the Zack Snyder helmed MAN OF STEEL.

Now if you can recall, after the unsuccessful theatrical run of JUSTICE LEAGUE Warner Bros.went into sort of a dismantling and rebuilding mode. This was from leadership to  was rethinking its overall strategy for DC Comics movies, moving away from the shared universe approach and toward standalone films.

A few months after Cavill departed his role, so did Batman actor Ben Affleck. Aflleck who was supposed to write, direct and star in the planned standalone THE BATMAN. The film has since been rewritten to focus on a younger Dark Knight and Robert Pattinson has since been cast in the role.

One thing that can be for sure throughout all of this, Cavill will more than likely not have any jarring mustache issues.

What are your thoughts on this and what do you think Cavill’s role will be.

Cyborg Confirmed to be Third Motherbox in Justice League film

We are getting more and more information about the upcoming Justice League movie and one of its main characters.

Via movieweb.com

Director Zack Snyder recently confirmed that the third Mother Box will be featured in Justice League, and that it will be none other than Victor Stone, a.k.a. Cyborg. There have been plenty of rumors swirling round the Mother Boxes and how they fit into the story, especially after the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice deleted scene that featured Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) using Kryptonian technology to create a vision of the villain Steppenwolf holding three Mother Boxes. Director Zack Snyder also offered more details about bringing this team together in Justice League.

Zack Snyder confirmed that Cyborg is the third mother box in the print issue of Total Film, but this isn’t the first time he’s mentioned that particular detail. The filmmaker revealed in a March interview that the Cyborg scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, where Victor Stone’s father Silas (Joe Morton) presents his son with a strange box that turns him into Cyborg, is the “first glimpse of the Mother Box there,” adding that Ray Fisher’s character, “plays such a strong part coming up.”

Another rumor from May revealed that Justice League will open with a flashback scene from 30,000 years ago, featuring Darkseid’s first defeat when the humans, Atlanteans and the Amazons all came together to beat him. These three civilizations are believed to have divided up an artifact into three parts, the Mother Boxes, which Steppenwolf is presumably coming for in Justice League. It has also been rumored that Steppenwolf will be the main Justice League villain, with Darkseid appearing at the end of the movie, leading into the currently untitled Justice League 2 sequel. While Zack Snyder wouldn’t speak more about the Mother Boxes, he did discuss how bringing this team of DC heroes together was one of the most rewarding aspects of the film.

“One of the more rewarding aspects of creating Justice League was having fun exploring the dynamic between this diverse group of characters, inherently larger-than-life characters with disparate backgrounds, ethics and unique perspectives all trying to come together and work as a team. It not only offers an opportunity for great drama and complex relationships, but it also often results in great fun. It’s an exciting concept to explore and it only gets better when you add the component of our incredibly talented cast, their chemistry really adds to that dynamic.”

It’s possible that one of the other Mother Boxes will be revealed in the upcoming Wonder Woman movie, which hits theaters June 2, just five months before Justice League arrives November 17. It’s also possible that the remaining Mother Box will be featured in the stand alone Aquaman movie, which debuts October 5, 2018, before the Justice League sequel will hit theaters on June 14, 2019. Hopefully we’ll find out more about these Mother Boxes as we get ready for Wonder Woman and Justice League to hit theaters this year.

Legendary DC Comics Villain Is Coming to the DCEU

slade1

OMG ! ! ! OMG! ! ! OMG ! ! ! Do I seem excited enough yet?? Well just as much as I, you should be as well. This should bring levels of ORGASMIC joy to fan boy and girls everywhere. DCEU Batman, Ben Affleck tweeted out yesterday a somewhat cryptic video of the prominent DC Comics character Deathstroke. Now according to SEVERAL news sources it is being officially reported that DEATHSTROKE will indeed be the main villain in the solo Batman film directed by and starring Affleck and ALSO will appear in Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” film in 2017 (cue schoolgirl like screaming)

Now, while I am for sure not a fan of Zack Snyder directing these films, ESPECIALLY after Batman V Superman. I am sitting wit praying hands, fingers crossed and Santa Maria Candles burning that he does Slade Wilson JUSTICE (no pun intended) in the Justice League film and that Affleck can carry it on headed into the solo project.
