Following the success of SHAZAM! at the box office this weekend one of its producers, Dwayne Johnson took to instagram to express gratitude to the critics and fans.
He also gave somewhat of an update on the solo Black Adam film as he mentions with the development of SHAZAM!. Johnson says “the film had a difficult production as it was initially struggling to tell 2 origin stories (for Black Adam and Shazam!) before the decision was made to save Black Adam for his own solo film”. Johnson also goes one to say that cameras should start rolling in “about a year.“
