Thanks to director Todd Phillips who posted to Instagram, we now have our first look at Joaquin Phoenix as the man who will eventually become the clown prince of crime.

Notice in the caption it just says “Arthur” this could be the first name of the man who will eventually torment the citizens of Gotham City.
Production has begun on the Super Villains origin story and we look forward to giving more photos and information as it becomes available.
